What is fusioninventory-agent
FusionInventory Agent is an application designed to help a network or system administrator to keep track of the hardware and software configurations of computers that are installed on the network. This agent can send information about the computer to a OCS Inventory NG or GLPI server with the FusionInventory for GLPI plugin. We can use yum or dnf to install fusioninventory-agent on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fusioninventory-agent.
Install fusioninventory-agent on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install fusioninventory-agent using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install fusioninventory-agent
Install fusioninventory-agent on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install fusioninventory-agent using yum by running the following command:
