What is covered-doc

covered-doc is:

Covered is a Verilog code coverage utility that reads in a Verilog design and a generated VCD/LXT dumpfile from that design and generates a coverage file that can be merged with other coverage files or used to create a coverage report. Covered also contains the GUI coverage report utility that reads in a coverage file to allow interactive coverage discovery. Areas of coverage measured by Covered are: line, toggle, memory, combinational logic, FSM state/state-transition and assertion coverage.

There are three methods to install covered-doc on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install covered-doc Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install covered-doc using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install covered-doc

Install covered-doc Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install covered-doc using apt by running the following command:
