How To Install boost-container on Rocky Linux 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install boost-container on Rocky Linux 8.
What is boost-container
Boost.Container library implements several well-known containers, including STL containers. The aim of the library is to offer advanced features not present in standard containers or to offer the latest standard draft features for compilers that comply with C++03.
We can use yum or dnf to install boost-container on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install boost-container.
Install boost-container on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install boost-container using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install boost-container
Install boost-container on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install boost-container using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install boost-container
How To Uninstall boost-container on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the boost-container package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove boost-container
