How To Install texlive-yquant on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-yquant on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-yquant
This LaTeX package allows to quickly draw quantum circuits. It bridges the gap between the two groups of packages that already exist is then translated into TeX by means of an external program; and the pure TeX versions that mainly provide some macros to allow for an easier input. yquant is a pure-LaTeX solution – i.e., it requires no external program – that introduces a logic oriented language and thus brings the best of both worlds together. It builds on and interacts with TikZ, which brings an enourmous flexibility for customization of individual circuit.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-yquant on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-yquant.
Install texlive-yquant on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-yquant using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-yquant
Install texlive-yquant on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-yquant using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-yquant
How To Uninstall texlive-yquant on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-yquant package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-yquant
