In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-suppose on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-suppose
This package provides commands for abbreviating the word “Suppose” in six fonts and with other variations. The author recommends only using these commands when the immediately succeeding strings are mathematical in nature. He does not recommend using them in formal work. The package requires amsmath, amsfonts, and graphicx.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-suppose on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-suppose.
Install texlive-suppose on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-suppose using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-suppose
Install texlive-suppose on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-suppose using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-suppose
How To Uninstall texlive-suppose on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-suppose package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-suppose
