How To Install texlive-plipsum on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-plipsum
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-plipsum
The package provides a paragraph generator designed for use in Plain TeX documents. The paragraphs generated contain many ‘f- groups’ (ff, fl etc.) so the text can act as a test of the ligatures of the font in use.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-plipsum
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-plipsum.
Install texlive-plipsum on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-plipsum
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-plipsum
Install texlive-plipsum on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-plipsum
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-plipsum
How To Uninstall texlive-plipsum on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-plipsum
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-plipsum
