Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-lexref
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-lexref
The package is aimed at continental lawyers (especially those in Switzerland and Germany), allowing the user to make references to legal provisions conveniently and uniformly. The package also allows the user to add cited Acts to a nomenclature list (automatically), and to build specific indexes for each cited Act. The package is still under development, and should be treated as an ‘alpha’-release.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-lexref
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-lexref.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-lexref
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-lexref
