In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-ifmslide on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-ifmslide
This package is used to produce printed slides with LaTeX and online presentations with pdfLaTeX. It is provided by the ‘Institute of Mechanics’ (ifm) Univ. of Technology Darmstadt, Germany. It is based on ideas of pdfslide, but completely rewritten for compatibility with texpower and seminar. The manual describes all functions and provides a sample.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-ifmslide on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-ifmslide.
Install texlive-ifmslide on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ifmslide using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-ifmslide
Install texlive-ifmslide on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ifmslide using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-ifmslide
How To Uninstall texlive-ifmslide on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-ifmslide package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-ifmslide
