This LaTeX package will greatly simplify filling entries for your FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) engineering or outreach notebook. We developed this package to support most frequently used constructs encountered in an FTC notebook tasks, decisions with pros and cons, tables, figures with explanations, team stories and bios, and more. We developed this package during the 2018-2019 season and are using it for our engineering notebook. Team Robocracy is sharing this style in the spirit of coopertition.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-ftc-notebook on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-ftc-notebook.
Install texlive-ftc-notebook on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ftc-notebook using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-ftc-notebook
Install texlive-ftc-notebook on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-ftc-notebook using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-ftc-notebook
How To Uninstall texlive-ftc-notebook on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-ftc-notebook package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-ftc-notebook
