In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-engrec
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-engrec
This package provides two macros \engrec and \EnGrec to convert number arguments to lower case or upper case greek letters. They have the syntax of \alph, i.e. \engrec{a_counter}, \EnGrec{a_counter}. Options are provided to work with the upgreek and fourier packages. Requires amstext.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-engrec
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-engrec.
Install texlive-engrec on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-engrec
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-engrec
Install texlive-engrec on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-engrec
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-engrec
How To Uninstall texlive-engrec on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-engrec
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-engrec
