What is texlive-arphic-ttf
This package provides TrueType versions of the Chinese Arphic fonts for use with XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX. Type1 versions of these fonts, for use with pdfLaTeX and the cjk package, are provided by the arphic package. Arphic is actually the name of the company which created these fonts.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-arphic-ttf on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-arphic-ttf.
Install texlive-arphic-ttf on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-arphic-ttf using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-arphic-ttf
Install texlive-arphic-ttf on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-arphic-ttf using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-arphic-ttf
How To Uninstall texlive-arphic-ttf on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-arphic-ttf package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-arphic-ttf
