How To Install texlive-amscls on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-amscls on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-amscls
This bundle contains three AMS classes, amsart (for writing articles for the AMS), amsbook (for books) and amsproc (for proceedings), together with some supporting material. This material forms one branch of what was originally the AMS-LaTeX distribution. The other branch, amsmath, is now maintained and distributed separately. The user documentation can be found in the package amscls-doc.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-amscls on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-amscls.
Install texlive-amscls on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-amscls using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-amscls
Install texlive-amscls on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-amscls using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-amscls
How To Uninstall texlive-amscls on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-amscls package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-amscls
