SafeKeep is a client/server backup system which enhances the power of rdiff-backup with simple, centralized configuration. This is the server component of SafeKeep. It should be installed on the server on which the data will be backed-up to.

We can use yum or dnf to install safekeep-server on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install safekeep-server.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
