What is php-pecl-xmldiff
The extension is able to produce diffs of two XML documents and then to apply the difference to the source document. The diff is a XML document containing copy/insert/delete instruction nodes in human readable format. DOMDocument objects, local files and strings in memory can be processed.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install php-pecl-xmldiff
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install php-pecl-xmldiff.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install php-pecl-xmldiff
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install php-pecl-xmldiff
Install php-pecl-xmldiff on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install php-pecl-xmldiff
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install php-pecl-xmldiff
How To Uninstall php-pecl-xmldiff on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the php-pecl-xmldiff
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove php-pecl-xmldiff
