How To Install perl-Pod-Usage on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install perl-Pod-Usage
on Fedora 36.
What is perl-Pod-Usage
pod2usage will print a usage message for the invoking script (using its embedded POD documentation) and then exit the script with the desired exit status. The usage message printed may have any one of three levels of “verboseness” If the verbose level is 1, then the synopsis is printed along with a description (if present) of the command line options and arguments. If the verbose level is 2, then the entire manual page is printed.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-Pod-Usage
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Pod-Usage.
Install perl-Pod-Usage on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Pod-Usage
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Pod-Usage
Install perl-Pod-Usage on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Pod-Usage
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Pod-Usage
How To Uninstall perl-Pod-Usage on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the perl-Pod-Usage
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Pod-Usage
