How To Install monosim on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install monosim
on Fedora 36.
What is monosim
is a simple application that can be used to read, write, update, delete and backup your sim card contacts. It open and save also some format files to manage your contacts also in a text files. To connect monosim to your smartcard you need use a standard PCSC smartcard reader as towitoko, acs, athena, blutronics, etc.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install monosim
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install monosim.
Install monosim on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install monosim
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install monosim
Install monosim on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install monosim
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install monosim
How To Uninstall monosim on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the monosim
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove monosim
