What is glusterfs-ganesha
GlusterFS is a distributed file-system capable of scaling to several petabytes. It aggregates various storage bricks over TCP/IP interconnect into one large parallel network filesystem. GlusterFS is one of the most sophisticated file systems in terms of features and extensibility. It borrows a powerful concept called Translators from GNU Hurd kernel. Much of the code in GlusterFS is in user space and easily manageable. This package provides the configuration and related files for using NFS-Ganesha as the NFS server using GlusterFS
We can use yum
or dnf
to install glusterfs-ganesha
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install glusterfs-ganesha.
Install glusterfs-ganesha on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install glusterfs-ganesha
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install glusterfs-ganesha
Install glusterfs-ganesha on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install glusterfs-ganesha
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install glusterfs-ganesha
How To Uninstall glusterfs-ganesha on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the glusterfs-ganesha
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove glusterfs-ganesha
