In this tutorial we learn how to install easyrpg-player on Fedora 36.

What is `easyrpg-player`

EasyRPG Player is a game interpreter for RPG Maker 2000/2003 and EasyRPG games. To play a game, run the “easyrpg-player” executable inside a RPG Maker 2000/2003 game project folder (same place as RPG_RT.exe).

We can use yum or dnf to install easyrpg-player on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install easyrpg-player.

Install easyrpg-player on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install easyrpg-player using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install easyrpg-player

Install easyrpg-player on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install easyrpg-player using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install easyrpg-player

How To Uninstall easyrpg-player on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the easyrpg-player package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove easyrpg-player
