What is dogtag-pki

Dogtag PKI is an enterprise software system designed to manage enterprise Public Key Infrastructure deployments.  Dogtag PKI consists of the following components    * Automatic Certificate Management Environment (ACME) Responder   * Certificate Authority (CA)   * Key Recovery Authority (KRA)   * Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) Manager   * Token Key Service (TKS)   * Token Processing Service (TPS)  

We can use yum or dnf to install dogtag-pki on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install dogtag-pki.

Install dogtag-pki on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install dogtag-pki using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install dogtag-pki

Install dogtag-pki on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install dogtag-pki using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install dogtag-pki

How To Uninstall dogtag-pki on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the dogtag-pki package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove dogtag-pki
