How To Install bchunk on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install bchunk
on Fedora 36.
What is bchunk
The bchunk package contains a UNIX/C rewrite of the BinChunker program. BinChunker converts a CD image in a .bin/.cue format (sometimes .raw/.cue) into a set of .iso and .cdr tracks. The .bin/.cue format is used by some non-UNIX CD-writing software, but is not supported on most other CD-writing programs.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install bchunk
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bchunk.
Install bchunk on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bchunk
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bchunk
Install bchunk on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install bchunk
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install bchunk
How To Uninstall bchunk on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the bchunk
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove bchunk
