How To Install winetricks on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install winetricks on CentOS 8.
What is winetricks
Winetricks is an easy way to work around common problems in Wine. It has a menu of supported games/apps for which it can do all the workarounds automatically. It also lets you install missing DLLs or tweak various Wine settings individually.
We can use yum or dnf to install winetricks on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install winetricks.
Install winetricks on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install winetricks using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install winetricks
Install winetricks on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall winetricks on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the winetricks package we can use the following command:
