How To Install texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8.
What is texlive-psfrag
Allows LaTeX constructions (equations, picture environments, etc.) to be precisely superimposed over Encapsulated PostScript figures, using your own favorite drawing tool to create an EPS figure and placing simple text ’tags’ where each replacement is to be placed, with PSfrag automatically removing these tags from the figure and replacing them with a user specified LaTeX construction, properly aligned, scaled, and/or rotated.
We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-psfrag.
Install texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-psfrag using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-psfrag
Install texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall texlive-psfrag on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the texlive-psfrag package we can use the following command:
