When AVC messages are generated an alert can be generated that will give information about the problem and help track its resolution. Alerts can be configured to user preference. The same tools can be run on existing log files.

We can use yum or dnf to install setroubleshoot on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install setroubleshoot.

Install setroubleshoot on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh
